American Artist like Jason Mraz and Brian Mcknight will be in Jakarta, sharing the same stage as Glenn Fredly, Ello, and one group that surprised me to be at the jazz festival is none other SLANK GOES JAZZ!!! Awesome. Last time they were here in the US we got a chance to see them live here in LA and hang out with the band... very humble guys... what I dont see is PADI which isnt jazz but, I dont see them on the list at all, or our own Band FOURWALL isnt on the list?!?! maybe next year they can enter the festival with other local Californian band like Reza Saleh Band. Below are the artist that will be showing up at the festival this coming march in Jakarta.

19 year old Dee & Ricky Jackson had the first vision to incorporate legos and high end fashion. Talk about connections and great PR, Dee & Ricky are now front row attendees at fashion week in NY! How did they get that privilege?! LA is good for Goodbyes...

You will be missed by many in Los Angeles!!! Krishna as you put LA behind in your back pocket like a vintage portrait, now you will encounter new snapshots of new beginnings and as you create these new portraits knowing that one day you will have to put away, remember that you can always look at those vintage portraits and you will remember those moments from the past that we all share with you. Moments that will remind you of a great time, of friendship, of trying new hobbies, encountering new spots to hang out, finding out that Richard Branson is your idol, business ventures with friends that lead to frustrating meetings and spending pointless hours creating new business plans, finding a significant other to share your deepest thoughts with... heartaches, cherishing friendships... making mistakes, making great decisions, experiencing regrets, smelling the air with optimism for our own future never guaranteed... ... these can all be bundled up and labeled as good times and bad times... Without these experiences... good and bad... you will never experience what life is all about. But you must remember whats guaranteed are these old vintage portraits in your back pocket without them you will never experience this precious thing called life. Los Angeles NYE 2009...
So there were more than a dozen great parties for NYE parties in Los Angeles within a 10 miles radius. Here are some pictures and flyers for NYE 2009 in Lala land... From Downtown LA with Moby as a headliner alongside with Benny Benassi, Dirty South, Paul Oakenfold, Mickey Avalon that event is called Giant Maximus. The most popular in the Indonesian community here in LA would be Together As One with headliner Armin Van Buren located just across the freeway (south of the 110fwy) @ the LA sports arena in the hood of USC. Also the largest red carpet event was held in Hollywood there is another big NYE event at the Paramount Studios backlot with Katy Perry, Dj Cool Whip, LMFAO, Dj Skeet skeet. Dj AM and Travis Barker had their event at The Lot in Hollywood also, a spacious sound stage on melrose ave. Well from IKONEs headquarters hehehe we wish everyone a Successful 2009 and on!!!
